The Normans cavalry taunts the saxon shield wall - English Heritage’s annual re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings marks the 950th anniversary of the Battle in 1066. The event includes a Cavalry encampment, Norman & Saxon encampments and Medieval traders. It takes place at Battle Abbey on October 15th and 16th.
