Lily Cole and Johnny Vegas launch Get Creative, a celebration of the nation's arts culture and creativity. Led by the BBC and What Next? in collaboration with a huge range of arts organisations, it invites everyone to have a go and share their creative talents, with the aim to boost creativity in the UK, as well as celebrating the millions of people already doing something artistic and creative everyday. Get Creative’s aim is to encourage as many people as possible to engage even more deeply and widely with the arts. And for those who don’t yet see the arts as part of their lives, it will offer an invitation to get involved. Set out like a village hall, Conway Hall is transformed into a festival of creativity for the launch, with members of Voluntary Arts and celebrities demonstrating various arts activities including pottery, Indian dance hand bells, felt making, mosaic work, origami and jewelry making.
