Princess Michael of Kent with members of the Corsini family - The opening night - L’elisir d’amore is the centrepiece opera of this year’s New Generation Festival in the private Gardens of the Palazzo Corsini in Florence, Italy. The festival is a new venture, by British company Granville & Parham Productions, which will become a yearly, Glyndbourne style, event aiming to showcase young operatic talent for new audiences alongside a summer school for developing performers. The festival runs from 31 Aug - 02 Sept.
