March for Homes, London, UK 31 Jan 2015.
A rally at the end at the foot of City Hall and sandwiched between the City and a new development of luxury flats at One Tower Bridge. People marched from South London and East London to City Hall to demand better homes for Londoners and an end to the housing crisis. Demands included rent controls, affordable and secure homes for all, an end to the Bedroom Tax and welfare caps and the building of new council houses. The event was called by Defend Council Housing and South London People's Assembly.
