  • Meredith Bockman (from Australia, l), Zoe Firman (from Earlsfield, C) and Haley (from Clapham Common, r). The morning after the night in Clapham Junction... people come together (via twitter, the internet and tv news) from the wide community of South London to volunteer to help clean up after a night of rioting. They wait patiently with brooms and rubber gloves between the Clapham Grand and Clapham Junction Station while the fire brigade ensure the burnt shop is safe and while police collect evidence. Eventually they are told to go home because the council has decided that, due to health and safety issues, they will not be allowed to do the clean up.
